Middleboro based, Veronica's Treats was baked up by Hillary Souza when she experimented with different ingredients in search of the "perfect" cookie.  The results were outstanding, and the cookies constantly sold out at their family-owned restaurant. 

 In January 2003, Hillary decided to start a novel enterprise to distribute her popular, freshly baked photo cookies more widely and borrowed the name of her daughter, Veronica, to introduce Veronica's Treats.

 Hillary created the http://www.veronicastreats.com/ website to market her photo cookies, brownies and edible gifts on the Internet. In January, 2006 Veronica's Treats moved into a space double the size of it's original Bridgewater location.  There is now a staff of 9 to keep up with demand.
